Doll Chao was born in Taipei, based in Brooklyn since 2012. Her experimental diary film is a collage of montage using all kinds of materials such as 35mm stills, 16mm, super 8, digital cameras, cell phones or anything surrender by; self-analysing with stream of consciousness talks about her value and mind, family, love, dream and political and religious thoughts. Her films have been screened in festivals in Taiwan, UK, France, Belgium, Korea, China and Macau. She is also a musician, started performing since 2010 and have works recorded collaborating with musicians in Taiwan and USA , currently in progress of making her first album.
